Dali

To make your stay experience different from the usual hotel, our homestay offers a more personal and cultural experience.

Hele Courtyard (禾乐小院), our charming homestay, is nestled in Xizhou Village, surrounded by lush rice fields near the shores of Erhai Lake. From your room’s window or private balcony, you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises over the landscape. Each room is air-conditioned and features an ensuite bathroom with a water heater, ensuring a comfortable stay. Selected rooms also offer the added luxury of a bathtub.

Our host, originally from Guangdong Province, works alongside a local Bai Ah Yee (a respectful term for “auntie” often used for housekeepers) to serve guests a delicious blend of Cantonese and Bai cuisine. Halal meals are also available upon request, prepared with the help of the local Muslim community in the village. For guests who prefer to cook their own meals, the kitchen is fully accessible. A washing machine is also available for your use at no extra charge.

At Hele Courtyard, we prioritize warm local hospitality over formality, ensuring that whether your stay is short or long, it will be carefree, enjoyable, and memorable.

Lijiang

Our newly opened, Yuemingyuan Courtyard (粤茗苑 ),  is in Baisha Ancient Town, the first settlement of the Naxi people after they migrated south from the Tibetan plateau. Yuemingyuan is built in the traditional Naxi architectural style, using locally sourced wooden logs. The rooms combine modern minimalist design with traditional touches, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. Set against the stunning backdrop of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it offers a peaceful and comfortable retreat—just far enough from the busy streets of Lijiang Old Town for serenity, yet close enough to easily enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife and attractions.
